The law offices of Bauer & Densford are located in the historic Governor Paris Dunning House at 608 W. Third Street in Bloomington, Indiana, just south of the Monroe County Courthouse and Justice Building in the Prospect Hill Neighborhood.

Jawn was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in October 1981 and has operated a general practice of law in Indiana since that time.

In his career, he has:

  • Worked as a prosecutor in Greene and Monroe counties
  • Taught Business Law at Ivy Tech State College for 18 years
  • Worked as a court appointed criminal public defender
  • Serves as Judge Pro Tempore in the Monroe Circuit Court
  • Has represented Court Appointed Special Advocates through the Monroe County CASA Program since 1989
  • Served as court appointed guardian ad litem
  • Serves as a referral attorney for:
    • Middle Way House
    • Monroe County Pro-Bono Project
    • Indiana University Protective Order Project
  • Serves as a family law mediator
  • Spoken to community groups about various legal topics
  • Served as attorney for Project Peace with local elementary school in Peer Mediation Program
  • Volunteered with local schools to participate in mock trials and discuss legal topics
  • Serves as local counsel for out of county law firms
